In [Ottawa, Canada](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottawa), Linux Presentation Day is hosted by the [CST8177 Linux II](http://www.linux2.ca) class in the [School of Advanced Technology](http://www.algonquincollege.com/sat/) at [Algonquin College](http://www.algonquincollege.com/) and is organized by [Robert Brandon](mailto:rob.brandon@algonquincollege.com). Linux Presentation Day aims at people who don't know Linux but who want to know more about it. Linux Presentation Day is not an event where people get help with installing Linux on their computer; instead, presenters at Linux Presentation Day can help the visitors decide whether they want to test Linux on their own system, or give them a closer look at it first before making this decision. In Ottawa, Linux Presentation Day will actually take place over four days, and we will be demonstrating nearly a hundred different distributions of Linux -- please refer to the calendar below for a list of the dates and times at which distributions will be available to look at. All Linux Presentation Day events are taking place in [ACCE Building](http://www.algonquincollege.com/acce/). <iframe src="https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?showTitle=0&amp;showNav=0&amp;showDate=0&amp;showTabs=0&amp;showCalendars=0&amp;showTz=0&amp;mode=AGENDA&amp;height=300&amp;wkst=1&amp;bgcolor=%23f7f7f7&amp;src=9amfu5un25mqns1009vsut97g0%40group.calendar.google.com&amp;color=%23182C57&amp;ctz=America%2FToronto" style="border-width:0" width="1600" height="300" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
